About us

The MosaicPlc is a public relations company with interest in activities in extractive, Oil & Gas, community management, business and finance, CSR and ancillary areas to deepen public knowledge and understanding of the extractive sectors. The people’s understanding of issues is key to successful implementation and the realization of project objectives.

Established in 2003, as sole proprietor, MosaicPlc changed to Limited Liability Company in 2016 incorporated to commence business and a sister company of GH Petroleum, KlenKare Ghana & Mariners Anchorage Catering Services.
The company has close alliance with major media houses and leading journalists with years of distinguished practice. These journalists have proven their mettle as promoters of businesses and other economic actors in general. MosaicPlc and Oil and Gas Sector With the discovery of oil in commercial quantity in June 2007, the country’s has seen the entry of leading global players in the upstream and downstream oil and gas that have come to lend support for the nascent industry.

This has already led to the springing up of local companies in the oil service sector who have either started from scratch or imported their experience from somewhere into the country to contribute their quota to the development of the sector.
As the industry grows, however, it throws out a lot of issues, some of which are very sensitive as they bother on communities and cultural issues, yet others are too technical for the layman to grasp.

Over the years, not only has MosaicPlc built capacity in the industry, but it has partnered with leading oil producing and service companies to build the capacity of the media, community leaders, schools and other stakeholders from key sectors and communities to sensitize, manage expectations and how locals can position themselves to harness opportunities the industry brings along.
One of the thorny issues is the Local Content Policy and law, which mandate foreign oil operating companies to encourage local participation in the service supply value chain. While some foreign companies feel doing this should not be with compulsion, the government is insisting it will sanction foreign companies, which defy the law.
It is the role of the media, and of cause a public relations company such as MosaicPlc, to explain these issues clearly to the public, by carrying success stories and how challenges are being scaled.
This is not always the case of ‘Bad News Sells’. This will help trumpet how international and local companies are collaborating while at the same time foreign companies can have their image intact as good corporate citizens.
The management of MosaicPlc, therefore, wishes to create the consciousness with about the level of engagement multinational companies have with the locals though the use of selected media houses.
The focuses of this plan is for advancing the frontiers of oil & gas industry and enhance its reporting in the country by availing itself of learning opportunities from any quarter of the industry.

Local content In line with its policy to transfer of skills to local people and ensure local participation in the oil and gas industry, (as the Local Content and Local Participation) Regulations, 2013 prescribes), engaging the services of MosaicPlc is a must for companies into fabrication of parts of the FPSO, other oil and gas related services.

It is instructive to note that many international oil companies have long embraced the local content convention prior to the passage to ensure the promotion, maximization of value-addition and job creation through the use of local expertise, goods and services and MosaicPlc will be at hand to champion that.
